
This Year, in addition to the Final Report, each project group MUST submit a 3 – 5 minute maximum video presentation of the project. Cameras are provided by YSAP and will be shipped to each school in early April. Take sure to visit the following 2 website links for video presentation guidelines:

FLIP VIDEO CAMERA: INSTRUCTIONS, TUTORIALS and REQUIREMENTS
1. Take the camera out of the box and watch the following instructions that show how
to use and operate the video camera:

Once you have finished recording the videos, you need to plug the camera into the computer to download the videos. Watch the following videos that show you how to plug your camera into your computer to download the videos. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YApQcMQBnMg&feature=related Notes: -Once you plug the camera in, a pop up folder window might come up: For PC: you might need to double click on the: Setup_flipShare.exe For Mac: you might need to double click on the Start FlipShare 4. To download the videos the software-ready program will be installed automatically once you plug in the camera. Once you are in the “FlipShare” software, you are able to edit the videos. Please watch the following video that shows you how to edit and make the final movie to upload it into STEP 4 on the YSAP website. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XZtFkrJT5ys&feature=related Note: Once you have finished saving your movie, you will find a file on the left information bar of the FlipShare window program. Find the: COMPUTER folder Click on: Th e default month. You will find your movie there.6. To export the video: -Having selected the movie on the FlipShare window program. Go to: File Click on: “Export to” button A pop up window will come up named: "About exporting Items" Click on the “Export” button A pop up window will come up. (this window is asking you to select where would you like to save the movie in your computer. -Select "Desktop" folder: This way you will not need to look for your video anywhere else in the computer. -Once you have selected your destination folder. Click on the “Choose” button -The window will close, and this means that your video was exported correctly. -Go to your desktop screen or folder and you will find your video there. NOTE: make sure you Eject the camera from your computer by: PC: on the lower right bar of your computer click on MAC: on the finder window click on EJECT or just right click over the FLIPVIDEO icon and click on EJECT.7. To Upload the Video into the www.YSAP.org Go to www.ysap.org Click on STEP #4 On the right side column you will find the #2 green bar “SUBMIT 3 - 5 MINUTE MAXIMUM VIDEO PRESENTATION OF THE PROJECT” Click on the gray “BROWSE” -A pop up window will come up. -Select the video file from your desktop or folder where you saved it. Click on the “Select” button-Once it has upload. Click the orange “SUBMIT” button.
